game peer review : game defects

Check the game for errors and inaccuracies.

What are game defects?

Every game submitted to the XNA Creators Club Online Web site needs to be free of errors, annoying slowdowns, crashes, hangs, or other problems that would frustrate or confuse a player. Any one of these problems is a defect.

All games must have a trial mode that showcases the actual game experience. If you fail to do so or use this method to provide your game for free your game will be failed in the Peer Review process. Games are NOT available for free currently on the system. This system is NOT a video hosting service and should not be used as such.

In addition, a game must represent itself properly in its description, screenshots, and trailer video. If the actual game is not what you saw in the screenshots or video, or differs significantly from its description, it is also considered defective.

If you see any defects, check the appropriate box, then add details on the following page indicating where this defect occurs. If you check any box, the game will be rejected automatically, and will be sent back to the creator. Be sure to make your comments as specific as possible to help the creator fix any problems.
