Dream.Build.Play 2009 Finalists Announced at Penny Arcade Expo

Dream.Build.Play Challenge encourages independent and hobbyist game developers to create fun and innovative video games for Xbox 360 using XNA Game Studio. Narrowing the submissions down to the top six was difficult; information on the final six are below.

Kodu Game Lab Now Available on Xbox LIVE® Community Games

Microsoft Research‟s new game lab Kodu Game Lab launches on Xbox LIVE Community Games, giving aspiring game makers of all ages the chance to bring their own game creations to Xbox 360. For just 400 Microsoft Points, or $5, anyone with a passion for game creation can harness the magic of programming and game development at every level.

GDC 2009

Game developers travel from around the world to the Moscone Center in San Francisco, to attend the Game Developers Conference, March 23-27, 2009.

GDC is an opportunity for game developers and partners to come together and discuss what is new in the industry. This year we had two full days of industry leading knowledge featured; over 9 sponsored sessions and over 16 different lectures, as well as a Lobby bar packed with game tools, latest hardware and software and much, much more!
